Symposium

Every Ashura Awareness Week, the Thaqalayn Muslim Association holds a symposium where we invite speakers to talk about Ashura, its importance, its history, and the lessons learned from it.

This year, the symposium is being held at the Best Institute Building in Rm. 114 on the University of Toronto St. George campus

Come to the symposium on Friday 27th February 2009 at 3:30PM to listen to outstanding speaker Hasanain Rajabali share his views on what we can learn from Husayn's actions when he fought oppression and injustice 1400 years ago. The session will end at 6pm. The entrance fee is FREE and refreshments will be served. Additionally, we will be collecting DONATIONS to Haiti.
