Tabling

During Ashura Awareness Week, you can drop by our tables on any of the following days and locations between 10am and 5pm:

Thursday February 4th - Bahen Centre (lobby)
Friday February 5th - Robarts library, 2nd floor (in front of the cafeteria)
Monday February 8th -Bahen Centre (lobby)
Tuesday February 9th - Robarts library, 2nd floor

We will be handing out or selling the following:

• Information! we will be answering any questions you have about Ashura and will be introducing you to its humanitarian message.
• “Knowledge/Action” cards these cards link Imam Hussain (A.S.)’s message to the general responsibility of acting on what you know is right to the situation in Haiti today.
• Water bottles are an important symbol for Ashura, a precious resource denied to Imam Hussain and his followers; stickers on the bottle include Imam Hussain’s message.
• Paragons of Justice booklets is an important resource for further information on details of Ashura and its personalities.
• Blood Donation cards link the message of Ashura to the humanitarian principle of saving lives; one of many steps we can take.
• Haiti Donation sheets link the message of Ashura to a specific instance where you can take action based on what you know is the right thing to do. There are people out there who need your help and its time that we all take action to do so.
• Tickets to Wednesday’s symposium can be bought so that you can attend educational lectures on Ashura as it relates to our theme: Knowlege and Action
• Others: Selling "313" movies and Tragedy of Karbala CDs
• FREE CANDY: Just because we appreciate you dropping by!
